ELISE
This project is a documentation system for the module simulation department at Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg.
It serves to facilitate the planning, creation and documentation process in the research of photovoltaic technology. The system also supports the standardization and structuring of large amounts of documentation data, which significantly improves evaluation and availability.
General
This project was originally developed as part of my bachelor thesis and then further developed and improved as part of my position as a research assistant at Fraunhofer ISE.
I took over all parts of the software development process, from conception to implementation and introduction to the department.
Technical
This project was developed using Vue.js as frontend framework and Apollo client to query the data.
The API and the backend was implemented with GraphQL and Apollo Server.
The Neo4j graph database was used as the database. By structuring the data as a graph, complex relationships were made possible through which the data can be queried quickly and efficiently.
